Outside Voices was founded to give a voice through the arts and journalism to those who are marginalised and rarely heard and to work towards a more informed, equal and open-minded society.
We celebrate and focus on the lives of the everyday, working people; one of our objectives is to share the art and stories with everyone.
Outside Voices also showcases and publishes art and poetry by a number of outstanding artists and writers who themselves have been marginalised. The art is sometimes heart-breaking; at other times it is inspiring, joyful and brimming with love and humanity.
This project is dedicated to Angela Hobart who lives in London. She encouraged and inspired this project over many years. Her courage will never be forgotten.
